Champion Steve Smith breaks Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar records

Australian cricketer Steve Smith set a new record in the Adelaide Test against Pakistan. He created the history by crossing Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar.

Steve Smith holds the World Cup record for fastest 7 thousand runs in Test cricket. In just 126 innings, he did this feat leaving behind veterans like Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli.

Australia and Pakistan played a test cricket recently. On the second day of the match, Steve Smith set the new record for making the fastest 7 thousand runs in Test. He set this record as he completed his 24th run. Smith broke England’s fastest record of 7,000 Test runs by Walter Hammond.

7000 runs in Test cricket is now recorded in the name of Steve Smith of Australia. He overtook Indian professionals Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Virat Kohli. Along with that, Sir Garry Soubers and Kumar Sangakkara now lagged behind Smith.

Smith had 6077 runs to play against Pakistan and needed 23 runs to score 7000 runs. He easily achieved this goal and made another record in his career.
