A major terror attack in Ayanagund in Pulwama was thwarted by Indian security forces last week. A preliminary investigation into the incident has now revealed that Mohammad Ismail Alvi alias Lambu was involved in carrying out this attack. There is now a big disclosure about terrorist Ismail.

Two anti-terrorism officials involved in the investigation of the case have said that Ismail is a close relative of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM) chief Maulana Masood Azhar. It may be noted that in the Pulwama attack on February 14, 2019, 40 CRPF soldiers were martyred and Masood Azhar was the main role in carrying out this attack.
As per the Hindustan Times report, officials have said that soon the National Investigation Agency (NIA) will take over the investigation of the case. The federal agency is engaged in nabbing Ismail Lombu over the attacks last year.

One of these officials told that Lambu is known as Ismail Bhai. Apart from this, he is also called the moniker Fauji Baba. He came to India at the end of the year 2018 and sent Mudassir Khan, Khalid and Mohammad Omar Farooq (the conspirators involved in last year’s Pulwama attack who were killed in an encounter a month later) with gelatin sticks from stone quarries in the valley and local Helped to collect explosive material including ammonium nitrate from shops.

He took over the reins of Jaish in Kashmir in January after Qari Mufti Yasir was killed by the Indian Army. The official said that Ismail is an IED expert and had helped other attackers to fit bombs in a Maruti Eco van for the Pulwama attack on February 14, 2019. Ismail’s deputy Sameer Ahmed Dar was also involved in last year’s suicide bombings.

Another officer said that we received information that Ismail Lambu had planned a similar car blast in one of the camps or convoys. The bomb was placed in a Santro car but it was detected in time on Thursday (28 May) night.

Forensic experts have indicated that the unexplained bomb was made of RDX, ammonium nitrate, and nitroglycerin. The same things we’re used to making it, which was used in the 2019 Pulwama bomb blast.

The official said that the similarities in the two incidents reflect Jaish-e-Mohammed’s involvement, although the Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Taiba also appear to be involved in the blasts attempt last week as all these organizations are part of the Pakistan Army. Conducting a major terrorist attack under pressure.
