Actor Pankaj Tripathi shares his opinion on the Boycott Bollywood trend

Pankaj Tripathi has shared his opinion on the ongoing culture of Boycott Bollywood which has adversely affected films like Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan.

In an interview, Pankaj Tripathi discussed the current trend in Bollywood, which has had an impact on movies.

Tripathi stated that since we live in a democratic society, individuals have a right to express their opinions, with the hashtag “boycott Laal Singh Chaddha” currently trending on Twitter.

He also told, “Democracy me sabko apni baat rakhne ka adhikaar hai (In a democratic world, everyone has the right to voice their opinion). But at the same time, films are a big medium that generates revenue for the government. This revenue is then used for the betterment of society. Lekin, sehemati ho ya nahi, (however, if they agree or not), this is each one’s right.”

There is a negative sentiment among these people against Bollywood as they believe that Bollywood is always trying to hurt their religious sentiments. For this reason, they wish to boycott Bollywood entirely.

Some members of the Hindu outfit Sanatan Rakshak Sena staged protests in Uttar Pradesh and stated that they were adamant on calling for an absolute ban on Laal Singh Chaddha.
